Welcome to 9sense. 9sense is A Satanic Perspective of Our Modern World and I am your host Adam Campbell. It’s great to have you. It’s December 13th and I have a great show for you this week.

- I will do my best not to break the second rule of the earth in this letter, but i do feel the need to clarify a bit about my position. I am 17, and therefore am not part of the church of satan, and in general i am quite new to the philosophy.
- Satanism, as far as i can gather, is very epicurean. It pursues indulgence and enjoyment more than anything else, and i greatly respect that those can be different for each individual. But i notice people around me (the sheep) that are much, much happier than i am.
- Society obviously caters to the masses, and serves them best it can. It creates facets for their happiness, and those on the outside often end up feeling empty of depressed because of this. Satanism definetly fills that void in a sense that it gives reason to why we feel different and why that is okay, but i still have to ask…
- If satanism is about the pursuit of happiness, wouldnt the best answer be to become part of the herd? In general they seem quite at ease with a lot, and understand the societal vices for relaxation.
- Again, i am young and probably stupid, and this thought process definetly takes root in a bit of a depression. I agree with the satanic bible and lavey, and have always felt different but…im just not happy. Is it the most satanic route to actually just give up my classical music and solitary exercise for rap music and basketball, to forsake my books and podcasts in the name of reality TV?
