Intro

Welcome to this very special episode of 9sense. This is the 5th Greater Magic Episode! Joining me for this incredible discussion is Witch Erin from Down to the Crossroads. It is October 25th and we have a great show for you this week.

For five years now, we have been discussing the most controversial Satanic concept in depth with members of the Church of Satan. In 46 A.S. I spoke with Reverend Bill M. and Warlock Storm about the practice of Greater Magic. In 47 A.S. I sat down with the High priestess of the Church of Satan, Magistra Nadramia and Citizen Nanya Asema to discuss Greater Magic from a feminine point of view. In 48 A.S. I spoke with Magister Nemo about the Fringe ideas around Greater Magic including Supernormal human abilities, and lastly in 49 A.S. I was joined by High Priest of the Church of Satan, Magus Peter H. Gilmore and Magister Rose to discuss the customizing and creation of your own Greater Magic Rituals and Ceremonies.

This year I reached out to you, the audience, and asked you to share your Greater Magic Successes and Failures, and you came through in spades. Now, We won’t have time to cover every submission, but we will discuss the majority, broken up by 9sense contributor stories as well.

• Reading of The Theory and Practice of Satanic Magic, The Satanic Bible p.110:
  The definition of magic is: “The change in situations or events in accordance with one’s will, which would, using normally accepted methods, be unchangeable.”
• Reading of The Three Types of Satanic Ritual, The Satanic Bible p.116:
  There are three types of ceremony incorporated in the practice of Satanic magic. Each of these correspond to a basic human emotion.
  • A Sex Ritual is commonly known as a charm or spell. the purpose in performing such a ritual is to create desire on the part of the person whom you desire, or to summon a sex partner to fulfill your desires.
  • A Compassion , or Sentiment, Ritual is performed for the purpose of helping others or helping oneself… It might be said that this form of ceremony could fall into the realm of genuine charity, bearing in mind that “charity begins at home.”
  • A Destruction Ritual is used for anger, annoyance, disdain, contempt, or just plain hate. It is known as a hex, curse, or destroying agent.
    
    

These formulas are to be adhered to, as applying the wrong type of ritual towards a desired result can lead to trouble of a complicated nature.

It must be remembered that it matters not whether anyone attaches any significance to your workings, so long as the results of the working are in accordance with your will.

Sex or Lust

A word of warning concerning sex or lust:
Take full advantage of spells and charms that work; if you be a man, plunge your erect member into her with lascivious delight; if you be a woman, open wide your loins in lewd anticipation.

Compassion

A word of warning concerning compassion:
Be resolved that you’ll have no regrets at the expense of te the help you have given others, should their new-found blessings place an obstacle in your path. Be grateful for things that come to you through the use of magic.

Be certain you DO NOT care if the intended victim lives or dies, before you throw your curse, and having caused their destruction, revel, rather than feel remorse.

Outro

Greater Magic is not a universally accepted or practiced principle amongst Satanists, and it is up to the individual Satanist whether they wish to engage in or explore Greater Magic. Though I would like to reinforce this personal note: Our founder and first High Priest was a practicing magician. His first book codifying Satanism, The Satanic Bible was composed of half Satanic philosophy and half Greater Magic. His second book was The Compleat Witch defining Lesser Magic and his third book, The Satanic Rituals was entirely about Greater Magic. To ignore or shun these ideas as a Satanist, in my opinion, is nonsensical and to your individual detriment. We have tools that allow us mastery over our environment and interactions within, why would you not take advantage of using them?
