Producer’s Notes
In this final year, the weight of the project was getting to me. Ironically, I had the largest audience I’d ever had and 9sense was the most successful Satanic podcast in history. However, I was unable to spend time on Sundays with my friends or family. On Sunday’s I would plan, schedule, record, edit, and release the weekly episode. I regularly felt like I was forced to chase down episodes from the contributors, and doing so made me feel like a burden on them.
I was also unable to begin or see through other projects. I have been home-brewing and could never fully realize that blog I started. There were essays I wanted to explore, music I wanted to create and I wanted to be able to spend some real time with my family and friends, without looking at the watch or thinking about the next weeks show. I decided in November to finally schedule the end, and at the beginning of 2016, I announced it to the audience.
