Since the age of 16 I have been on my own and fending for myself. I was homeless for a time during that period in my life but decided to change my circumstances.
Long story short… I stayed focused and worked hard towards creating a career for myself. I started working as a grunt out on the oil rigs at the age of 19 and worked my way through the ranks.
Today at the age of 42 I am an Operations Manager for a reputable oilfield company. With no formal education and no formal training I now sit behind a desk and cant help but think to myself “you did it” “job well done”.
Our minds are a powerful thing….Never give up!
