Game Setup
Last time on What We Do in the Shadows; Vampire: The Masquerade – We were introduced to our anti-heroes as they were having a house meeting. When they learned about a murder of a young woman named Celeste Harmony. She had a note pinned to her corpse claiming that she was a victim of vampires. This puts the masquerade in jeopardy. To add to that chaos, they were interrupted by Piet Sieve, the Ozarks Camarilla Prince Gustav Durchdenwald’s familiar. He announced that the Prince would be arriving in a week, so they should take care of any issues before then. This led them on a search around town where they stopped in at the parents home, accidentally murdered the TV News cameraman during a car crash, claimed the note from the reporter, took it to Pennington Press paper supply and learned it was handmade paper made by a local; Hanna’s Handmade Handbills. Eventually they discovered three people purchased the paper in the past week and a half and paid a visit to them all, with Edgar breaking into the Forth’s home, and attacking the son. There was also a visit to the Prancing Pony, a male strip club which nearly burned to the ground because of a cursed witches hat, a suspected biological weapon: anti-vampire Cheetos powder, and the ignoring of the shared feeding schedule. The local neighborhood watch group knows as the Nighthawks have also been searching for information and the group has received a walkie-talkie from them for updates.

Comedy horror mockumentary originally created by Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi. The film was released on 13 February 2015 in the US. It was expanded into a streaming series by Jemaine Clement which ran for 6 seasons from March 27, 2019 – December 16, 2024 on FX. There is an upcoming series called We’re Wolves being developed as a sequel to the streaming series.
