- a.) If modern science discovers how humans came to be on the planet earth with irrefutable proof that contrasts all Christian (and other religion’s claims) of our origins, what would happen to society? Would there be mass hysteria? exponential increase in suicide? Anarchy? As a Satanist, I am well aware of my mortality and my godless reality, however a large majority of the planet relies on a higher-power in the sky to keep them going from day to day, so if religion was 100% disproved, what would happen from the view of a Satanist to the world?
- b.) Can a Satanist be a misanthropist and despise their own kind? Is this hypocritical in the view of Satanism? The idea of not caring that your species survives seems like it may conflict with Satanic ideology? I have no children yet but had a vasectomy because I do not want to contribute to continuing my species, although I know others will continue to breed, but I feel better inside knowing I’ve done my part to not contribute to the problem. Do you as a Satanist find this to be a conflict with Satanic beliefs?
