Producer’s Notes
In this first year, I was really trying to prove myself as both an entertainer and an interviewer. I quickly learned pacing was important, and though I was told so, I didn’t understand till later that editing wasn’t as important. The audience will allow the ‘uh’s and ‘um’s if the content is interesting.
I was also producing the podcast on video live. With no more than 15 people tuning in at once ever, I decided to stop the video feed and produce the entire show offline. This allowed me to focus on the content. I was truly worried the audience was more interested in judging my appearance or my room, than the content of the podcast, so video became nothing more than a liability.
