We Satanists do not kowtow to anyone when pursuing our goals. We do not ask permission to have our will be done, nor do we seek forgiveness if our will is in direct conflict with others. When we make a mistake we own up to it and correct the mistake as best we can, accepting responsibility for our actions.
If you find yourself overly concerned with what others think, even other Satanists, you are doing it wrong! Satanism is not a collectivist religion, we are individuals.
