Extreme Left, Safe Spaces & Censorship

Speak of the Devil presents Third Side intelligence. Reverend Campbell is joined by Reverend Raul A. and Brandon Phinney to discuss the extreme left, safe spaces & censorship.

There has always been an extreme reaction to political dominance. Sometimes that reaction turns into a movement and defines the future of political discourse, for a cycle at least. The last reaction was the Tea Party that can be felt in congress’ inaction to this day. But there has been an equal and opposite reaction to the perceived or valid injustice to the majority and that is the topic of this episode.

Opening Monologue

So, this is going to be tough. There’s not much to talk about this month… Hah! Just kidding! Between Nazis marching and hurricanes pummeling, I think the south is officially crying uncle. Can we all just focus on the north or maybe the west for just a little while? I think our friends nearest our future border wall could use a breather. And hey, what about that wall? First Mexico was going to pay for it, then, we were going to tax mexico’s imports and now we’re going to default as a country if his holiness of tards, heir trump I doesn’t get the funding. If I went back on this many promises i’d have bankrupted multiple businesses, failed multiple marriages and fathered many looser children just like… oh, yea…. He did didn’t he…

Speaking of the commander in chimp, if he was black I couldn’t say that, but because he’s only a sunny D version of white, it’s cool. It’s amazing how far white guilt and those of us who exploit it have and can go. It’s the source of the extreme left after all. The magical gem the left chips at through obscure ritual like some Jim Henson’s dark crystal. Until we come to the painful realization, we have our own hands up our asses and we don’t like it nearly as much as we think we should, or we tell each other we do. It’s easy to take a genuinely good idea and politicize it, militarize it and once the media has their research free, grubby little hands on it, well… you have the topic of our show today.

You see, I honestly can’t tell what’s worse, those who condemn others for being a different pigment of skin, or for seeing the world in a different way. This extends far beyond empirical evidence or the hypothesis of science. This lies in that hazy fog of entitled opinion. We’ve all seen it’s acne scarred face in our nightmares and perhaps even felt its hot breathed scolding us in social media. If you don’t see the world through my lens, you are an animal, weak, pathetic, cromagnon, a snowflake, a cuck who can’t be successful let alone have an opinion that matters. Now ask yourself, am I talking about the radical left, or the radical right? I believe the only real difference here is intent. But that’s not to say there is any sympathy in me for either, I do feel compelled to say, I am glad they are both here.

I have often be mocked for championing the idea of the sustainment of all human expression in all its disgusting, vile, sexy, and heartwarming forms. Now, I say that admittedly from a rather insulated ivory tower as a white man in suburban America, and I can admit that, and not quite knowing how to justify it, I feel it nonetheless. Once we stifle one human expression, the next follows. Then the next. I’m not talking about a slippery slope, I am talking about the natural evolution of political correctness. And we have now arrived at the point. For more discussion let me introduce you to today’s guests:

Our First Guest Reverend Raul A. has been writing on outsider art and culture for over 10 years. He hosts The Forest Passage and Chaos Sedated podcasts. You can find a collection of his work at invisible-war.net.
