Game Setup

Last time on In Nomine: Feast of Blades – The Servitors were given orders to collect a Talisman by their Superiors that was arriving on Flight 8081 to BWI airport on Tuesday, December 18th 1996 at 9:45pm. Each was given slightly different orders by their Superiors. An Outcast overheard Huzrael, Tiny, Bug-Eye, Baby, and Drools, talking about stealing a Talisman that is arriving in town, to use as a bartering tool for their Superior Valefor. The Outcast thought it was a good choice for him to try to obtain it and use it in a similar manner. They all were at the airport terminal, dealing with humanity in various ways when a news story broke about the flight crash landing on a packed highway. Huzrael recognized Eileth in the news footage and raced off to the crash. The party, believing Huzrael knew something, followed suit, and when they were seen following, Huzrael, Tiny, Bug-Eye, Baby, and Drools started attacking them, trying to shake them. They eventually crashed, and the party arrived at the site first. They noticed Eileth, and the Outcast questioned her. She is looking for the Dagger, which makes at least two other parties searching for the Talisman.

The party learned that the sorcerer who had the dagger, Roberto Raposo was the one who crashed the plane, then started murdering people at the crash site gleefully before fleeing the scene. Investigation at the crash site brought up two locations to search. The Shoreline Hotel, and The Home of Worship Church and Mission. They called the Hotel and asked for a heads up when Roberto Raposo checked in, posing as police, and visited the church. With Raposo still on the loose, and others searching for him, the group has to hurry, or someone else might find the Talisman, and their Superiors will not be happy.

About In Nomine: Feast of Blades

A crowded airport. A horrific crash. A deranged passenger who thinks he controls demons. And, above and beneath it all, weaving throughout the carnage like some malevolent snake, are secrets. Secrets on top of secrets, some better left unspoken, others in desperate need of exposure . . .

Feast of Blades is a complete adventure for In Nomine, designed for beginning level celestials (or even human servants) of either side. Secrets, after all, are a double-edged knife that can harm those who fight for Good or for Evil . . . depending on how they are wielded . . .

Written by S. John Ross, Feast of Blades was originally included in the In Nomine GM Screen, now long out of print. This version has been revised by In Nomine Line Editor Beth McCoy, who has updated the Superiors introduced in this adventure to match later books in the In Nomine line, and added complete GURPS In Nomine stats for all NPCs in the adventure.
