Stephen Hawking
January 8, 1942 – March 14, 2018

I was first introduced to Stephen Hawking through his masterpiece A Brief History of Time. His ability in describing the universe helped not only my understanding of it, but he helped me realize my place in the universe. His continuous study and evolving understanding of Black Holes was thrilling to follow. The thought of connecting Einstein’s Theory of General Relativity and Quantum mechanics to further understand Black holes was inspiring to contemplate.

But more than that, his work allowed my imagination to soar into science fiction, astrophysics and potential. The fact that he was given a few years to live at the age of 22 due to ALS, and his will moving far beyond the physical limitations of his body is something every Satanist should admire. He showed the world that you are not confined by your physiology and your mark can be bold on the world around you. Professor Hawking was a feature in popular culture as well, appearing in TV shows like The Simpsons and The Big Bang Theory.

I will never forget the influence he has had over me, and he will live forever in the brains and sinews of those who loved and respected him.

Hail Stephen Hawking!
Hail Satan!
