We have hiked this trail countless times in the past. It is great for getting out of the valley and spending time with the kids and dogs. This is an easy trail, a little intense at first climb, but simple once you get to the switchbacks. The dogs loved getting out, but even though the valley was clear an dsunny, it was cloudy and threatening to rain in the canyon.
