Show Notes
Intro
Welcome to Speak of the Devil presents The Satanist of the Year LX A.S. Award Show.
I’m your host, Magister Campbell, and tonight we celebrate something that has always been at the very heart of the Church of Satan—our mutual admiration society.
From the beginning, Satanists have recognized and celebrated those who embody the ideals of mastery, individual achievement, and indulgent living. We are a society that honors strength, brilliance, creativity, and accomplishment—not through hollow praise or empty ritual, but through earned admiration among peers who understand what it truly means to be a Satanist.
This award show, The Satanist of the Year, is a natural extension of that very tradition. It’s an opportunity for us—as individuals bound by a shared philosophy—to turn our attention toward one of our own who has exemplified the best of Satanism in action.
Tonight, in the year LX A.S. (2025 C.E.), we celebrate the honoree you nominated and voted for—a Satanist who has demonstrated excellence in the real world, through their deeds, creations, and personal victories.
Their work, passion, and presence stand as a testament to what we each of us strive toward: mastery of self, fulfillment of will, and the ongoing refinement of the carnal and the vital.
So pour yourself a drink, settle in, and join me as we celebrate the very best of what it means to be a Satanist—here, in this infernal mutual admiration society we proudly call the Church of Satan.
Nominee Recognition
It is now our honor to present all of your nominated Satanists — accompanied by one of the many reasons they were chosen by you, their peers.
Each of these individuals stands as a living example of what it means to embody the spirit of Satanism in action: self-defined, self-determined, and unapologetically accomplished.
Though only one will receive the title of The Satanist of the Year, every nominee we recognize tonight exemplifies the mastery, creativity, and strength that define our infernal mutual admiration society.
These are truly some of the best among the ranks of the Church of Satan.

Announce Winner
Priestess Renée M. Anderson
Renée was raised by a fiercely independent single mother whose example instilled in her a deep sense of self-reliance and resourcefulness—qualities that would serve her throughout life. In 2001, Aaron entered Renée’s life, and by Halloween 2003, they were married—forming a true power couple.
An accomplished entrepreneur, Renée founded Dark Queen Apparel, Art on You Studios, the Halloween in Summer Festival, and now the Witchcraft District Bazaar. While running Art on You Studios, she also served as President of the Magna Town Council in Utah and was featured in numerous publications.
Elevated to Priestess in 2020, Renée went on to establish her new business in The Witchcraft District of Poughkeepsie, NY, and realize her dream of owning a Victorian home maintained as a year-round Halloween-themed total environment. Her store has become a gathering place for witches, occultists, and Satanists alike—a destination where Members come to experience its unique atmosphere, find custom ritual robes, attend classes, and connect with others of Our Kind.
