Opening Monologue
It is easy to back yourself into a corner in today’s political climate. From Trump deregulating our environment, multiple investigations and cases brought against him both personally and professionally, his illogical and erratic behavior spiraling out of control into a near fever pitch. Republicans stealing one supreme court nominee from President Obama and now rushing through another supreme court nominee with multiple sexual allegations waged against him for no apparent reason other than fear that they will not remain in control after November’s midterm elections. The irony is, as usual, they are the creators of their own demise. Ignorant white men and women can only be lied to so many times before they get wise, and though the religious in our country are willing to put up with sexual predators and rapists when it comes to their representatives, as the population continues to self identify more and more with atheism, their support numbers continue to shrink.They ostracize the immigrant population, belittle the female population, take pride in the outrage caused by their stripping away of public decency and civil norms. They frequently side with the extreme, violent, and racist right while the vast majority of the country gazes on wide eyed and stunned.
They are doing everything they can to destroy the country from the inside out all the while celebrating the economic bubble they have created and will burst after they have been kicked out of office. They seem to pin all their hopes on rhetoric and short memories of the voting populace which has served them well for over 50 years. Why do you think people try to keep you jaded and home on voting day? This should be clear to any Satanist and thinking human, but ask yourself, why? Is it because the political world is bought and sold, or that they want to keep it that way? Do they truly believe in democracy or a representative government, or are they simply ensuring the representative republic is corporate not human. After all, donors control the political puppets they put into power, regardless of their blue or red jacket.
There are things you can do as a Satanist. Participate in primaries, so that when there is a vote its one you support and believe in. It could even be you! I have always been stunned when I hear Satanists flaunting their inaction and lack of interest as if being a pacifist is somehow satanic… where the fuck did that idea come from? I believe in political might that benefits me! Is that going to happen because everyone loves satanists and will thus support any legislation that I happen to desire? No? Then why the fuck are you pretending to be a satanist in the first place? Your inaction in exercising your will on your surroundings speaks louder than that Sigil of Baphomet you have around your neck or the hail Satan you type out online. Satanism champions real world accomplishment because it takes effort. It takes mastery. It takes a conscious effort of manipulation and control. How can you exercise that if you are sitting on Facebook arguing over pseudo groups or denying your right to control who is in office representing your will?
I am stating flat out, that if you do not exercise your will, you are not a satanist, and at best a wannabe. Satanism in action means applying Satanic Magic and that is more Lesser than greater. Get your ass registered to vote, research the positions and donors of your potential and current representatives and vote. Vote so we can see Pentagonal revisionism happen! Get in the front seat of your life and drive for fucks sake! If you aren’t registered to vote visit vote.gov.
