Though we may belong to the Church of Satan, or any socio-political group of our choice, we are not merely a cog in the machine, another number or head to count. We are alien to mankind simply because we see the world through an entirely different lens. We don’t simply exist as a statement for what we disbelieve as atheists do, we don’t seek guidance or acceptance from a third party like the god worshipers do – we are not defined by such simple concepts.
We are Satanists! We happily stand apart from mankind, accepting the consequences and rewards from our own decisions, our own actions. We champion critical thought and refuse to buy into the cause de jour. It is our life we focus on. It is our will to be done. We stand apart because we are individuals, even within our own religious affiliation.
You will find those Satanists that bind to other Satanists, or those who attempt to draw other Satanists, foolishly believing that their worth is wrapped up in those who connect with them. Nothing could be farther from the truth. We are individuals. Our goals should be focused on our own success in life; not online or offline social circles!
Being your own god does not mean falling into the same pitfalls as the Islamic-Judaeo-Christian god. You do not need worshipers. You only need direction, desire and the will to see it done.
